Under the Australian Copyright Act of 1968, the copyright of all artworks produced by me (Jayne Walker), including original artworks and reproductions of any kind is retained by me regardless of sale of the item. This means that the purchaser cannot reproduce, alter or use the work in any way without my permission. Purchasers of original artworks do not hold copyright of the item unless assigned by me at point of purchase. This means that I may at my discretion sell prints or other merchandise containing an image of the artwork after the purchaser has purchased it.

Downloads and digital products purchased from me are for personal use only and can be printed and used by the original purchaser as intended but cannot be transmitted in any way to another person and cannot be sold in any digital form. I trust that you will value the time and skill that it has taken me to produce my work and respect my copyright of my art. By purchasing any item from my shop, you are confirming you understand these rights.

Shipping

Shipping within Australia

Original artworks: Free shipping within Australia for all original artworks which will usually be shipped within 2 working days of purchase. 

Prints and other items: Shipping will usually occur within 2 working days with shipping prices advised at checkout.

If, under extenuating circumstances, I am unable to ship your item within 2 working days, I will contact you via email to explain.  

International Shipping

Please contact me via email hello@jaynewalker.com to get a shipping quote prior to purchasing original artworks, prints or other items.

Customs duties and import taxes: I strive to provide you with a seamless shopping experience, including transparent shipping policies. Please note that when you place an order with me, you are responsible for any applicable taxes, customs duties, and import fees levied by your country's customs authorities. These charges are beyond my control and are determined by the regulations of your country.

Insurance and tracking

All original artworks are insured against loss and damage in transit. If you would like insurance on other purchases, please contact me before purchasing for a quote. For other items, where possible (dependent on country of delivery), I will supply tracking once the item is posted.

Responsibility for correct address

I take great care with all my parcels to make sure that they have the correct address and labelling that you supply when purchasing. Please know that I cannot be held responsible for parcels that are lost or unattainable due to an incorrectly supplied address.  

items damaged in transit

All items I sell are handled with the utmost care during the packing process. However sometimes things do go wrong during shipping and items can get damaged.

Original artworks damaged in transit: If your purchase of original artwork arrives damaged during transit, please take photographs of the packaging prior to opening the package, and then photograph the damaged artwork or item inside. Please send these images to me within 48 hours of receiving the damaged item as insurance claims usually must be made within 7 days of delivery, so prompt reporting is essential. I will not be held liable for replacement if I have not been notified within 48 hours of you receiving the item.

Send images to hello@jaynewalker.com and I will replace any original artwork that is damaged during transit with a commission similar to the original damaged work of the same size and with the same framing if applicable. I will also cover the cost of return shipping.

Prints and other items damaged in transit: In the unlikely event of your delivery being damaged in transit, please photograph the packaging prior to opening the delivery and then photograph the damaged item inside. If an item is damaged during transport I will cover the cost of return shipping if appropriate.

Send images to hello@jaynewalker.com If there is the same item in stock, I will replace it and ship it without cost to you. If the item is not in stock, I will issue a refund for the item, less the original shipping cost.

Change of Mind after purchase

Australian orders: I am happy to accept returns within 7 days of receipt of delivery if you change your mind about your purchase. A full refund will be made on the condition that the artwork is returned in its original condition. Refunds will be issued for the original sale price of the artwork once I have received it back in original condition. I do not reimburse shipping costs if you change your mind. Return shipping costs will be at the purchaser’s expense. Please contact me at hello@jaynewalker.com if you wish to process a return.

International orders: Due to the costs of international shipping I cannot accept returns of items shipped internationally. All purchases of original artworks and all other items on this website are considered final so please select your artwork carefully.

Disputes

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your transitions or communication with me, please bring it directly to my attention as soon as possible and I will provide a quick and appropriate solution to the problem if it is within my control. I do my utmost to ensure that your art arrives safely and in perfect condition. If there are difficulties relating to your order, please know that I will do my very best to resolve it for you where it is within my power as quickly as I can. It matters to me that you have a great experience when purchasing my art.
