My studio is my happy place… A space where curiosity drives creativity and my magic happens.
My studio is my sanctuary and being here fills my heart with joy! It’s not just a place for creativity but is also reflective of my personal aesthetic and houses treasures from my travels. I have stones that I have collected from beautiful glacial lakes in New Zealand, shells from Australian beaches and lovely little treasures I’ve bought along the way.
I live out in the countryside in a 100 year old farmhouse with a magnificent view from my studio window through the 100 year old pear tree and past the old dunny (Australian slang for outdoor toilet). I love this view through the seasons.
I also love old furniture and have been fortunate enough to find some beautiful old pieces that fill my studio including an old bank desk where I paint, map drawers that house all my art supplies as well as old wooden drawers and bookshelf. I love the warmth these pieces bring to my creative space.
